She doesn't cry

She only wipes her translucent eyes

Burying the pain inside

She hides within, and runs without

She don't run from the sun no more

She boxed her shadow

And she won, but she is lost

She finds herself at night

Where the night makes her a star

Holding her cold in its arms

She lays there holding her breath

Finding it strange how soon she'll forget

That she's like the stars

They only show up when it's dark

They don't fully know their worth

And now, is the time to shine

She is a girl, soft but estranged

You are two, your lives rearranged

She smiles like she's so tough

When really she's only in the rough

She's a girl, all left alone

And she feels the need to run home

Twisting and turning, her feelings are burning

For she meant you no harm

Wondering where does she begin

Listening to the silent sound

Of loneliness, to which

Takes the sudden place of you.

She tries desperately to puzzle

the broken pieces, of a barely breathing story

Where there was once love

And now, her and the lonely

She stares at the cracks in the walls

She waits for it all, to end

She's constantly pushing the world

She knows aside, for nothing is ever enough

She is lost like Alice,

In a looking glass

In a painted past

Though in underland.

She gets smaller with every

Swallow that she drowns

Herself endlessly in

Bye bye helpless sorrow

Must you break her open, to just see

If only if only she will still bleed

If so what do you find underneath

She bruises easily, though not

For the inside does too,
